    BONNIE CHAKRABORTY (Vocals & Percussion), a professional musician and lead vocalist with Krosswindz(Calcutta) till 1997, has also been involved in acting and creating  the  music for  two diploma films at the Satyajit Ray Film Institute of Technology, besides  doing  freelance assignments in the corporate and film industry both in Calcutta and in Chennai, where he is currently based.  

    DONAN MURRAY (Guitar & Vocals), An exciting  musician  adept in Jazz, Rock and Pop, has produced numerous albums for well established names in the Chennai Pop scenario. He has worked as guitar player and vocalist with groups like FUNKY BODHI, JURAVI and GLASS. 

    MARRIO (Bass Guitar) , An experienced  bass guitarist based at Chennai, he is keenly interested in folk music of India  and evolving  the  repertoire. 
    K V  BALAKRISHNAN (Tabla, Dhol, Dholki, Kanjira, Dandia and Khol), “Tabla Balu” as he is better  known, is a leading  percussion player  in the Tamil film industry and has played with well-known music groups like PULSE, BRAHMA  and FUNKY BODHI. He also produces and arranges devotional and classical albums for artists in the industry. 
    Guest Artistes: PATRICK ROZARIO(Accordion), VIKRAM (Percussion), SAROJA (Dilruba) 

    “OIKYOTAAN”  seeks to permeate folk sounds from West Bengal and Bangladesh with a new, indigenous genre of music that reflects the traditional and yet breathes of the contemporary.  It has incorporated from folk music like Bhatialli, Baul, Faquiri and Lok Geeti, and interpreted each with an additional ensemble of sounds and textures to offer a distinctively  new  spectrum of music.
