    SUSAN McNAUGHTON is a well-known dancer, teacher and independent choreographer living in Toronto. She has a background in music, holding an ARCT degree in piano performance. She danced with Toronto Dance Theatre and London Contemporary Dance Theatre before launching a successful solo career. Her choreography has been performed in Canada, Europe and the United States. She is currently completing her Masters Degree in Dance at York University in Toronto. 
     
    “One Woman - A Bridge” - The moment at which Sita and Ravana meet is not only a turning point in the “Ramayana”  but the beginning of a personal rite of passage for her. Everything she had known changed from that moment on. What if, rather than being forcibly abducted, Sita follows Ravana in a fated way - toes awake but heels asleep, following an unfamiliar light, a local wind, a golden deer.
